
As you’re no doubt aware, walking (with a goal of more than 10,000 steps a day) is good for your health. The Sweatcoin project is based on this observation. If you exercise, you’re less likely to develop any kind of disease (diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc.), you save the whole community money, and it makes sense to reward you for that (it’s an incentive, but it works…).
That’s why Sweatcoin is a unique crypto-currency, because the only way to get it is by walking or running (okay, you need to have your phone with you and the app installed…)! Easy, isn’t it?

I like this kind of project which shows that cryptos and Blockchain technology in general, are not just investment or speculation vehicles but also concrete everyday solutions…
